Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Preferred locations: NY/NJ/Boston, MA/Philadelphia, PA/Atlanta, GA/Orlando, FL/Miami, FL/Chicago, IL/St. Louis, MO/Detroit, MI/Cincinnati, OH/Columbus, OH /Milwaukee, WI/Houston, TX/Dallas, TX/Nashville, TN. (Anyone outside of these locations should be willing to travel at least 30%.) Duration: Contract to Hire (CTH) ONLY W2 (USC) Required skills:
- 6+ years as a Full-stack developer with backend experience and server-side frameworks (Java / Spring / Spring Cloud / Hibernate / SpringBoot Microservices)
- 3+ years Google Cloud Platform Anthos implementation experience in Cloud architecture/design, compute/storage services.
- Preferred Google Cloud Platform certification and in-depth expertise in one or more of following Google Cloud Platform security practices, Legacy platform migration into Google Cloud Platform, Apigee gateway
- Knowledge of implementation agnostic microservice patterns across different frameworks such as NodeJS, Python, Java, Angular, PHP, Ruby, .Net etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, Service Mesh technologies (Istio or Linkerd)
- Understanding of DevOps, GitOps CI/CD implementation into the cloud using technologies such as Cloud Build, Tekton and flux
- One or more of Google Anthos/Google Cloud Platform/Apigee certification
- RDBMS and NoSQL Databases understanding: Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB
- Google Cloud Platform/Anthos
- Java programming, Spring boot, Microservices, DevOps
