Job DescriptionOverview:The SVP, Social will be responsible for overseeing the department and all aspects of client service and paid social planning & implementation. Please note: this role requires a paid social or digital media planning/buying background. Flexible on location in NYC, Atlanta, or Chicago, but must be in the office 3 days a week (hybrid-remote). 25% business travel expected.Role Objectives:

Lead a 70+ person team in multiple markets including NYC, LA, ATL and Bogota.

Oversee 4 VPs who manage a portfolio of premier clients and ensure social planning and buying execution excellence

Provide leadership/motivation and convey the vision and values of the UNIT3C to media staff

Critique, conduct reviews, performance evaluation of media team to ensure efficient and profitable staff operations are maintained

Embody Publicis Groupe values and cultivates them among the team

Manage workflow, efficient and profitable servicing of client(s), staffing levels, fosters healthy team structure, team assignments

Responsible for all revenue management and reporting to EVP.

Act as key decision maker in staffing recommendations across 18+ clients

Participate in New Business as needed

Collaborate with all media channel team leads to develop and execute holistic omni-channel media solutions

Provide thought leadership, consultation and act as a voice for social media

Establish and grow relationships with senior media clients, as well as be a key agency contact and internal agency partner

Work with VPs to continue to identify the development and documentation of paid social best practices and formal training to improve operational efficiencies within the team and the group

Enjoy being a key partner to social media publishers and partners with an eye to identifying client innovation opportunities

Stay apprised of new technologies and trends and a keen understanding of social landscape to incorporate into media driven solutions and business building ideas

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field. MBA a plus.

15+ years of digital media buying/planning experience

Experience leading large teams and clients in a holding company / media agency environment

Strong experience in identifying revenue opportunities and selling through new ideas

Must have exceptional verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, follow-though skills and an ability to influence key decision makers

Must have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills

Must possess/develop and have an interest in the social technology marketplace including awareness of key publishers, products and trends

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
