job detailsA top company is hiring a shipping and receiving clerk. The ideal candidate would be a self starter, energetic and determined individual. UPS or Fedex experience is preferred. The Shipping Associate will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. This is a long term opportunity with a great company. Create import shipments, inventory adjustments & receipts, allocation of inventory & issuing pick tickets, invoicing.
Tracking and recieving incoming shipments, for customs clearance & delivery to the warehouse.
Organizing the workflow within the dept & at the warehouse, identifying priorities and ensuring the on time & accurate shipping of inventory.
Be able to demonstrate excellent listening, verbal and written communication, & would have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions & problem solve.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds including the use of pneumatic and manual lifting devices.
Operate a forklift
Proficient with various freight software, Email, MS Word and Excel, etc.
