• Have experience in end-to-end SAM and knowledge of Licensing Models.
• Must have a consulting mindset for assessment of SAM Function.
• Understand ITAM, HAM and SAM lifecycle.
• Face clients and Design Process and governance for SAM
• Able to suggest the different tool set, integrations, automations around ITAM SAM
• Design meaningful reports and interpretations
• Understand Licensing conditions of major suppliers like Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Adobe etc.
• Identifying attributes and lifecycle of Assets under ITAM SAM
• Planning, Initiation, and ensuring execution of process design, implementation, training and execution
• Manage and conduct software compliance activities in agreement with software vendors
• Investigate discrepancies between the SAM database and physical items, raising incidents or change requests as appropriates
• Administer SAM tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro for software recognition etc.
• Maximize the organizational use of software assets
