Software Development Lead (LAMP Stack) Job, Remote:

The Software Development Lead (LAMP Stack) leads custom development activities and will manage a team of 3 Software engineers. The role is responsible for leading a development team in design, implementation, and quality assurance of applications.

Responsibilities of the Software Development Lead (LAMP Stack)
  • Leads a team of developers in best practices in full stack development while using collaborative relationships to create and implement various projects across all missions in alignment with our strategic plan.
  • Represents the team to IT architecture, and other technical groups.
  • Formulates and prepares project plans with activities, dependencies, dates and timeframes, resource requirements, milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitors progress of project activities and ensures all critical implementation criteria are met and provides status reports to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manages project scope and timeline. Approves and escalates material deviations from scope and plan as appropriate.

    • Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technology field

    • Experience
  • 4-5 years of management-level experience in a related setting, including automated systems,
  • 5+ years experience developing full stack software solutions in a production environment

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Experience with best practices in Unix / Apache / PostgreSQL / Python /Django full stack development or similar technology
  • Proficient with version control and software testing paradigms.
  • Strong Leadership and communications skills
