Software Quality Assurance Engineer CPS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to work for one of our finest clients in the Utica, NY area. The ideal candidate will be driven and have experience developing exploratory and automated tests to ensure top product quality.

You can sit in Syracuse or Utica, NY for this Hybrid Role1-2 days in the office / 3-4 days remote per weekAs the Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

Implement automatic regression and functional tests, debug code and define corrective actions
Assist with development and implementation of Continuous Integration and Agile Development environments
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Create detailed test plans, test case, and document results
Support multiple projects while providing continual improvement of infrastructure and testing methodologies using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies to test, update and patch critical systems

Background Profile includes:

Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. GPA of 3.25 or higher
Experience in software quality assurance, knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Solid communication, documentation, and collaborative/teamwork skills
Ability to develop product strategies and communicate recommendations to executives effectively
US citizenship - must have or be eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance
