Software Support Engineer Fulltime only NY/Remote (EST) Act as the first point of contact within the engineering team for support cases escalated from help desk and client services Perform in-depth investigation including database, code, other aspects; provide internal communication to other teams, and pull in other teams to help as needed Troubleshoot production issues, diagnose and analyze the root cause Propose and implement code fixes for issues under investigation; propose and work on tools/features to make software support easier Release application to production environments You have BS or equivalent 1-3 years of experience with high volume consumer-facing SaaS applications with 2+ years with product-focused companies Proficiency in SQL and JavaScript, HTML Experience in Java, Spring or Struts, Web Services Familiarity with Linux, Tomcat webserver Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, prioritization and communication skills Good to have Experience with AWS stack, Jira issue management Our Stack Java, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, jQuery, ActiveMQ, CXF, Tomcat, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, DynamoDB, Linux, AWS
