Solutions Architect

• Evaluates existing and emerging platforms, processes and architectures; identifies areas of opportunity and outlines solutions.
• Leads all aspects of solution architecture, design, development, and management processes from concept ideation through development, launch and maintenance.
• Partners with cross-functional teams from concept ideation to solution delivery; leads collaborative activities between several teams to identify technology solution alternatives and the optimal solution from desirability, feasibility and viability criteria.
• Researches existing business environment including trends, best practices and company preferred architectural frameworks and alliances to ensure services match business trends. Recommends appropriate upgrades or solutions to enhance competency in meeting changing business needs.
• Identifies business requirements; evaluates concepts such as market timing, compelling event and problem identification to ensure that delivered solutions meet both short- and long-term business expectations.
• Maintains professional knowledge of current trends and developments, vendor roadmaps, domain models and architecture blueprints to educate technology teams and stakeholders.
• Performs other related duties and projects, as required.

• Minimum seven years of technology management experience, including three years of designing solutions for complex business problems, required.
• Expertise in at least three of the following: Cloud, Data, Information security & data privacy, Integration, Solution Architecture required.
  • ETL Architecture, Snowflake, SQL Server, Data Warehousing, RedShift, AWS, Azure, Python, GraphQL, Data Analytics, data integration, data pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity, influencing without authority, and broad system thinking with relevant attention to details required.
• Demonstrated ability to describe IT architecture business information flows, processes, roles and work practices that impact business objectives and capabilities required.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate information/data modeling structures as they relate to business applications and capabilities required.
• Demonstrated ability to map applications and business capabilities to describe how systems interact with the organization required.
• Demonstrated ability to describe the behavior of infrastructure platforms and the business systems they support required.
• Experience in vendor interaction, negotiation and management required.
• Ability to focus/align organization around critical initiatives, best practices and guiding principles required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients, senior management, staff and vendors required.
• Proven track record of leading multiple project teams and multi-tasking required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
