Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience in MS SQL Server database - 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database - 2+ years of Experience in AWS/Azure or Oracle Cloud - Strong Experience in Shell and SQL scripting. - Strong experience administrating SQLServer on Windows Platform or Oracle Real Application Cluster on Linux Platform - Experience with Azure DevOps - Ability to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workarounds - Should have strong time management skills with willingness and ability to handle multiple projects/initiatives at the same time - Self-motivated with strong team, interpersonal and communication skills

Assignment

The project involves implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud to replace on-prem Peoplesoft HRMS and migration of on-premise SQLServer Employee Data Warehouse and reporting system to Oracle Autonomous Cloud and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

- The SQLServer DBA will work with the Project team and system integrator to help migrate historic information from on-premise SQLServer databases to Oracle Cloud infrastructure.

- SQL DBA will help investigate, identify and document existing integrations and active users to current Employee DataWarehouse

- SQL Server DBA will help with the migration of historic information from On-prem SQLServer databases to Oracle's Autonomous Cloud.

- Assist development and reporting groups in optimizing SQL statements in applications, batch jobs, and reports

- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations

- SQLServer DBA will Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
