Sr. Accountant

Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in New York, New York. The primary role of the Sr. Accountant will be to manage and maintain the company's fixed assets, ensuring accurate and efficient financial records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Take charge of an Excel spreadsheet that holds fixed assets for the company Develop a list of assets that need to be expensed and assets that need to be capitalized Correctly identify the fixed assets with the appropriate vendors Upload identified assets into NetSuite for audit purposes Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Journal Entries Utilize Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for various accounting tasks Maintain accurate customer credit records and resolve customer inquiries Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Proven experience with Journal Entries Proficient in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with NetSuite software Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Professional certification such as CPA is preferred A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and dependability Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
