Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior Director of Digital Product Management (sports) for a Direct Placement assignment with one of our premier Athletics clients in White Plains, NY or Orlando, FL. This role is onsite 2-3 days a week. Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership, strategic direction and operational management for digital as follows:
  • Manage a cross-functional digital team including Product Management, UX & Design, Enterprise Reporting and Production Services.
  • You'll be responsible for both the near-term prioritization and the long-term vision for Community Tennis new products and features. I
  • The ideal candidate is a seasoned direct-to-consumer product and team lead. You should be accustomed to solving complex consumer-facing problems, building sound strategies, and executing those plans.
  • You will drive Community Tennis digital product experience, advocate for our users with a strong sense of user empathy, and establish a high-performing team structure.
  • You are strategic and creative, with the ability to execute and influence. You challenge the status quo and assist in building approaches that consistently set the team on a path to realizing world-class product experiences.
  • Partner with business owners to define market-leading products to serve their business needs
  • Partner with internal and external Engineering resources to build the market-leading products and services to serve the US Tennis market
Required Skills :
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required; MBA a plus.
  • 10-15 years of increasing leadership in digital organizations with functional experience including marketing, product development and/or operations
  • Must have proven track record launching and/or managing complex digital ecosystems, clearly translating business needs into requirements and through a collaborative effort with technology teams support the development of detailed technology requirements.
  • Experience working in customer centric and data rich businesses where driving traffic, customer engagement management (CEM) and customer experience are key components.
  • Background or interest in tennis is a plus, as is experience in sports or entertainment media.
  • Strong track record of developing partnerships, both internal and external, to the organization.
  • Not ego invested, humble but at the same time, confident enough to persevere, drive an agenda and push back when necessary.
  • Demonstrate persuasive skills with ability to be successful in an open, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to challenge others to think differently and innovate in service to the brand and the business.
