Job Description: A

Java Consultant job is available with our client, a global investment bank located in

NYC. The role is a long-term consulting assignment in their Financial Systems group. This is a

hybrid position that requires you to commute to the local office throughout the work week and therefore candidates MUST be located in commuting distance to NYC.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop Core Java, Multithreaded and Spring based appllications.
Must be able to work in a fast paced development along with the ability to multi-task.
Proactively pick up open tasks
The candidate will be working on sprints with weekly releases and required attendance at daily Team Meetings.
Work closely with a team member in other regions.
Comply to standards of development and firm mandates.

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB:

Expert with Core Java, Multi-threading and Spring Boot.
Experienced in Microservices.
Strong Database experience.
Expert in Scripting Unix/Python.

Pay Range: Hourly Pay range: $100 - $115
