Pronix Inc is looking for Sr. MicroStrategy Developer to work for our direct client at White Plains, NY/Hybrid model Job Title: Sr. MicroStrategy Developer Type: Long-Term ContractLocation: White Plains, NewYork (2 days a week work from the office) /Hybrid Job Description : Skills:Micro Strategy reporting application, UNIX / Shell Scripting, SQL experience (intermediate to advanced skill level). Strong preference for Tableau and SAS experience. Supporting Micro Strategy reports application in a fast-paced team• Ability to understand the business users’ reporting and analytical needs; communicate effectively with the business users and help author business requirements.• Document all requirements into the appropriate requirements management tool.• Conduct requirements walkthroughs with the project team and project stakeholders.• Demonstrated proficiency working with data, especially the analysis of potential data sources and development of source-to-target business rules mapping.• Perform Unit Testing, and document test results.• Support System Testing, End-to-End testing, and UAT.• Develop implementation/backout plans and support production implementation.• Support post-production validation.• Lead and support change control on requirements.• Develop a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).• Work with developers for detailed design documents.• Develop business rules spreadsheets (BRS) to document data movement/data transformation rules.• Perform data profiling, data analysis, and set up mock data for development/unit testing.• Work with developers, data modelers, testers, and business area subject matter experts (SMEs) to support development, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).• Support all phases of the project development lifecycle using the system development life cycle (SDLC) and other project methodologies.• Support project management tasks as defined by the Project Manager.• Create and update all necessary documentation for the Project.• Perform other duties associated with the position, whether or not explicitly directed. Basic Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years current experience of working with MicroStrategy Reporting Tool.• Minimum of five (3) years of current experience in the development of the MicroStrategy Reporting Tool.• Minimum of five (5) years of current and hands-on UNIX environment.• Minimum of seven (7) years of current and hands-on experience with complex SQL and high-volume Relational databases.
