Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer for a contract position with a client located in Syracuse, NY. Bachelor's Degree in a Software Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or comparable technical subject area is required. You will directly work with teams from other business units to onboard and develop data applications to support their products on the data platform. You will play key role in design, development and support of cloud based clinical data platform and data applications within the Enterprise Connectivity group of Healthcare Systems and Technologies business unit
Pay/Salary Range: $125K-$150KSr. Principal Systems Engineer job responsibilities include:Interact with all business and customer partners to understand their problems and needs to define functional requirementsInteract with various IT and Cloud Operation teams to collect and define operational requirements such as performance, monitoring, billing, and other non-functional requirementsTranslate customer needs, business constraints, cybersecurity, privacy, monitoring and regulatory requirements into functional and non-functional system requirements of the cloud data platformConduct risk management activities including planning, risk analysis, risk evaluation and control.Responsible for setting up DHF and creating design artifacts based on planning, design input/output and design transfer needs per medical device and non-medical software guidelines of our client's quality system.Lead the technical team through technical risk identification and management as well as issue and test defect resolutionEnable technical design decision making (building for capacity and scale) based on available data and projected growth.Influence the quality of the product by enforcing repeatable build, deploy, test and operating procedures.Ensure changes are analyzed holistically and impacts are fully understoodDecompose and allocate system level requirements into module level requirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering or comparable technical subject area is requiredMinimum 10 experience RequiredHealthcare experience is requiredExperience with Azure is requiredKnowledge of medical device software development lifecycle is required including knowledge of standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 14971.If you are interested in this Sr. Principal Systems Engineer job in Rochester, NY then please click APPLY NOW.
