Sr. QA Analyst required for a long term project at Long Island City, NY

We are trying to

• Writing detailed test plans and test cases for functional testing.
• Review and provide input on all project level documentation.
• Create requirement/test case relationship (traceability).
• Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies.
• Extensive experience in Manual Testing and Automated Testing
• Experience and knowledge in UAT, functional testing, system testing, unit testing, database testing, regression testing and integration testing will be a plus
• Log, track, and validate resolution of identified defects.

• Automation of test cases in Micro Focus UTP.
• Escalate quality concerns to management.

• Must have at least 4 years of experience in creating test plans and test cases for manual testing and automation
• Ability to work independently within a rapidly changing environment with strict deadlines
• Strong SQL skills, Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Knowledge of .NET technologies
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Proven communication and documentation skills
• Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle, including secure SDLC.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business or scientific discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience creating UTP test frameworks is a plus.
