Job Description:
Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization). Works with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team. Possess a working knowledge of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization. Leverages experience and understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software). Performs Cost/Benefit Analysis to align the technology to business strategy. Gathers & catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests. Determines the impact of modifications and enhancements on the application. Acts as the product(s) subject matter expert to support scope and requirement decisions. Ensures changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies. Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting, and may help configure test solutions to validate functional and system needs. Identifies, document and troubleshoot application related problems. Documents process, procedures and workflows associated with applications. Leads or participate in continuous improvement efforts; Building expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving processes. Creates, maintains and presents training materials for end-users. To support this growth in absolute business trade numbers and of new markets there is need to supplement the team developing and supporting the operations functions with specific vendor application and market experience. Projects range from global change initiatives through large and small regional initiatives.Role Summary:Member of Futures and Options Operations IT group providing support to our business clients.The candidate will provide project management, business, technical analysis for processing related to vendor applications, (Clearvision) and associated in-house developed Java applications.This role is to provide technical project management and to manage a small agile project management team. It will also involve other tasks such as BAU, NPT and change management activities to support the application team.Job Responsibilities:- Work with developers onshore and offshore to establish agile methodology structures
- Participate in and work on all aspects of the different phases of projects
- Provide subject matter expertise to support design, development & testing of project deliverables, validation of quality assurance and change management process
- Ensure business engineering standards are applied by all parties involved in projects and deliveries
- Participate in initiatives to improve standard business engineering practice
- 10+ years' experience IT technical project manager
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word
- Proficiency in SQL
- Knowledge of network and system design
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with global team members
- Ability to manage expectations and delivery dates
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Dynamic, pro-active mentality
- Ability to work without close supervision, yet to rigid timescales
- Self-driven, confident, strategic but pragmatic, good communicator and team player
- Experience in the finance industry
- Managed projects using Agile methodologies
- Managed various project management processes such as Scrum, QA, testing automation, change management
- Java experience
- Oracle specific experience
- Understanding of Investment Banking
