- Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform
- Maintain business services and configuration item relationships in ServiceNow
- Maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform across production and non-production instances
- Perform installation and testing of updates and new releases
- Provide ServiceNow configuration and customization including, but not limited to form tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations
- Design and configure new applications and modules
- Assist in troubleshooting patch/release management issues
- Support translating business requirements into technical requirements and develop and maintain the technical requirement documents
- Develop UI forms, fields, notifications, workflows, and JavaScript server/client code
- Support creation of new service catalog requests and items with variables
- Create, monitor, modify, and publish service catalog workflows with approvals
- Create and use update sets to move configurations between production and non-production instances
- Build and implement the requested system and functional changes, enhancements, and configurations needed
- Implement new functionality as needed
- Work directly with customers to resolve ServiceNow support incidents and problems
- Review and reconcile license compliance report
- Minimum of 3 yrs. of administration/development experience on the ServiceNow platform
- Must have ServiceNow implementation experience, including development, configuration, and administration in an enterprise environment
- Advanced scripting of business rules, Access Control Lists (ACLs), workflow activities
- Knowledgeable in ServiceNow best practices
- Relational database expertise in relation to an enterprise software system (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL)
- Experience with ServiceNow integration using LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), Active Directory, and Single Sign On
- Proficient in development of workflows, custom web services, custom notifications, assessments, custom app
- Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Service Catalog
- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and relationships
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ITIL certification a plus
