This position is REMOTE based.

The ServiceNow Platform Architect will be responsible for the ServiceNow enterprise-wide technical architecture, platform capabilities and will drive standardization and best practices. They will also provide technical guidance in platform development and advise on configurations and development standards.

This role serves as the technical subject matter expert in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage strategic implementation roadmap and architecture blueprint.
  • Establish and manage technical governance processes for development and admin teams.
  • Provide technical evaluation of demands for new applications and changes to existing applications, translating demands into an architectural blueprint.
  • Provide technical best practices, standards, and design support for complex projects & integrations
  • Define solutions across the platform that aligns to out of the box capabilities.
  • Define current state and target state Integration Architecture (REST, Data Extracts/Loads) for the ServiceNow platform and Automation capabilities and ensure interoperability and scalability across different technology stacks.
  • Providing support / guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
  • Responsible for programming workflow, enhancements and integrations with ServiceNow platform applications.
  • Resolves technical escalations, including responding to complex defects and solutioning of complex requirements
  • Determines gaps between business requirements and product capability and defines workable solutions to bridge the gaps
  • Advises and responsible for patching, upgrades and significant changes on the platform
  • Responsible for the implementation, ongoing enhancements, and support of all integrations with ServiceNow
  • Evaluates emerging technologies, industry, and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • 7+ Years of ServiceNow Platform Experience with an in-depth understanding of ServiceNow architecture. ServiceNow Experience should include scripting, platform configuration, design, and deployment.
  • Experience with integrations, e.g., REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, and store apps
  • Experience with CMDB Health, Process, governance and integration with other ITSM modules in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with supervising and inspecting code migrations between instances, as well as providing feedback to technical resources on approaches to remediate assigned defects.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable of ServiceNow's Discovery platform
  • Proficient and knowledgeable of ServiceNow's Common Service Model and Service Mapping techniques.
  • Certifications- ITIL v3/v4, ServiceNow Certified Administrator/Developer
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; sets priorities and follows a timeline
