Sr. Solution Architect for New York City, NY

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Work within Wealth Management Group on Trading Platforms & Solutions in Investment Products and Technology.
  • Collaborate with technology leaders to architect common services and reusable components and component frameworks.
  • Working closely with the enterprise architects, engineering teams in making recommendations of technology, frameworks and standards
  • Ability to work well and influence teams, including engineers, product managers, quality assurance, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Enthusiastic on identifying solution gaps, risks and proposing alternative solutions
  • Architect and build highly scalable, resilient, secure and maintainable systems using modern distributed technologies
  • Innovate and transform ideas into highly utilized features and services for the business users.
  • Enforce governance and establish guidelines of best practices. Advocate for and communicate the vision, strategy, and criticality for MA governance and standards

    • Experience:
  • Deep understanding and proven expertise in investment banking solutions in financial services industry
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, leading multiple projects and delivering within documented timelines.
  • Experience in designing applications for Distributed Architecture using Java, Spring, Micro Services, Restful APIs, Kafka, Camel, Containers & Cloud and much more.
  • Experience in capital markets instruments (equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives) and trading platforms
  • Excellent analytical, creative, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proven success leading cloud based, SaaS applications
