Sr Sourcing Analyst in NYC - 2 days a week

Hi We have an urgent role of Senior Sourcing Analyst in NYC. Hybrid to Midtown NYC 2 days a week Position Summary: The Senior Sourcing Analyst is responsible for supporting Managers and Directors as they lead large scale sourcing initiatives. Responsible for leading small to large sized sourcing initiatives. Responsible for projects across all indirect spend categories. Job Responsibilities: Support the Director of Contract Management and Procurement in establishing a high-functioning, best in class sourcing organization capable of driving impact and delivering savings. Collect data necessary to run successful sourcing events, such as spend data, stakeholder requirements, stakeholder budget, supply base, supplier financials, market dynamics, trends and other data specific to each project. Tech savvy, experience in ratecard negotiation/benchmark and IT expert Conduct analysis on data to help stakeholders understand cost models, savings forecasts, pricing proposal, qualitative proposals and other data specific to each project. Understand and summarize data for use in Executive presentations. Assist in the development of RFx and all accompanying documents. Assist in the preparation of negotiation strategy and documents used in supplier meetings. Manage updates to savings trackers, procurement policies and sourcing toolkits. Leverage existing tools and technologies to support procurement initiatives. Liaise between business stakeholders and Finance on savings. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required preferably in Economics, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain or management consulting role. Knowledge and skills to support a robust multi-step sourcing project. Ability to engage and build relationships with peers from different functions around the organization who may never previously worked with a formal sourcing or procurement team. Innovative thinker to help create and deploy creative procurement solution. To perform this job successfully, the individual should have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification program preferred but not required: Professional Designation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
