Asset Servicing Team - BNY Mellon Asset Servicing provides global solutions tailored to meet our clients- unique needs to help enhance the management, administration and oversight of their entire investment process and deliver the tools they need to expand their ability to process, monitor and measure investment data from around the world. We are seeking a strong Senior .NET Developer/Lead with extensive experience in Micro-Services to join our ETF Technology Team. Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge on designing/architecting microservice based application platform including the user-side frontend, as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side.

The ideal candidate would have - 8-10 years of experience in .NET technologies 3-5 years of experience in Microservices / Rest API / SQL At least 5 years of experience in designing/building transactional systems with leading RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle etc.) At least 2 year of experience in Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Team City, TDD At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. Knowledge & experience in Agile/Scrum framework Experience of building and maintaining large-scale software products. Experience in building and maintaining best in class software products utilizing micro services Experience in Conducting automated testing, CI/CD and Dev Ops Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering. Team player with an ability to lead, mentor junior developers

Additional responsibilities include - Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications. Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group. Guides and consults with IT management and technical staff regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services. Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies. Active learning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time. Use learning tools such as Pluralsight to complete both recommended and aspirational targets set in personal development plans. Stays abreast of emerging technologies. Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions. Mentors junior level engineers. Communications and organization skills; team work skills ; possess strong interpersonal skills to support mentoring Contributes to the achievement of area objectives Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 7-9 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Extensive experience with developing and supporting mainframe applications required. Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
