DescriptionEngineering Capacity Planning within the NASC Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain optimization efforts. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing our build plans, as well as drive automation and retrofits to ensure our network capacity remains robust, updated, and fully utilized. This position will support the programmatic functions of the overall organization, providing insight into each pillar as we contribute to long-term build plans, material handling solutions, and the retrofitting of existing processes. You will be responsible for implementing mechanisms such as MBRs, QBRs, and program and project-level tracking mechanisms, and providing support to multiple L7 leaders.Key job responsibilitiesBuild Plan Development: Collaborate with network planning and engineering teams to develop, refine, and optimize a comprehensive build plan that aligns with the organization's strategic goals and growth objectives.Capacity Planning: Manage capacity planning efforts, ensuring that our network capacity is continuously evaluated and optimized to support our operations through peak and prime periods.Automation and Retrofit Initiatives: Identify opportunities for automation and retrofit projects within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, network planning, and other teams to ensure alignment and synergy in supply chain initiatives.Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the network capacity and make data-driven decisions.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, developing contingency plans to minimize disruptions during peak, prime, and other critical events.Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.A day in the lifeAs a Sr. Supply Chain Manager in the Engineering Capacity Planning team, your day starts by reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics from the previous day to assess the effectiveness of the current build plans and identify any immediate issues that need attention. You then join a morning stand-up meeting with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and network planning, to sync on ongoing projects, address any roadblocks, and ensure alignment across initiatives.You will have regular meetings with multiple L7 leaders to provide updates on the progress of various initiatives, discuss potential risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Your role also requires you to establish and monitor performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize the supply chain and network capacity.About the teamThe Engineering Capacity Planning team’s mission is to optimize network capacity and non-capacity build plans for Sort Centers within the NASC Engineering organization. As the hub for NASC Engineering planning efforts, we integrate work streams across all stages of the Sort Center lifecycle, facilitating the realization of standardization and optimization initiatives. We are dedicated to delivering solutions that drive efficiency and excellence in our capacity utilization and lifecycle cost management of our assets. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and forward-thinking Sr. Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team.Basic Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience

5+ years of supply chain experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of driving process improvements experience

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market.
