The Global Black Belt Technology Specialist role is the ideal place to leverage your passion for being a member of a dynamic sales team that is bringing true digital transformation to customers.The Global Black Belt Technology Specialist is a key member of the Business Applications sales pursuit team and is a strategic thinker, proactive problem solver, sales & technical roadblock resolver displaying a growth mindset with deep functional and technical knowledge in the workload.You will be a technically intense workload expert for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations within the Microsoft enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers. You play a key role in the total sales cycle by helping them with their end-to-end business transformation needs through envisioning, designing and demonstrating solutions mapped to business value within the area of your workload expertise. Executing with excellence you will collaborate across the sales opportunity journey with the Business Applications sales team, Microsoft partners and ISVs, other Technical Specialists and our Customer Success team.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Technically Intense Workload Expert - Deep functional, technical and process-level knowledge and extensive demonstration experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail/Commerce, Finance.

Strategic & Proactive Pursuit Team Member - Strategic thinker with proactive engagement throughout the pursuit sales cycle; removes blockers, challenges the status quo, unblocks design/technical stalemates, brings clarity from ambiguity displaying a growth mindset. Support the voice of the field through interactions with the aligned product teams.

Technical Team Collaborator – Collaborates with a pursuit team of technically intense workload experts including Technical Specialists with expertise other than yours, co-sell partners and Independent Software Vendors to design and demonstrate a solution that maps business value with the end-to-end business transformation needs of the customer.

Customer-centric Solution Designer - Employs Design Thinking principles centered on customer business outcomes.

Differentiated & Business Value/Outcome-driven Demonstrator - Expert in demonstrating solution capabilities and associated business value addressing customer business decision maker persona needs/pains. Demonstrates differentiation and the value of Business Applications workload solutions. Ensure demonstration follows Tell-Show-Vision model and has an end-to-end view building opportunities for seeding and expansion after initial sale.

Technical and Functional Solution Leader:Demonstrated expertise and ability to integrate complex elements and customer requirements into innovative technical & functional solutions in the enterprise business applications space.

Technical thought leader in one of the following workloads: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, F&O/Commerce Architecture

Business solutions (CRM/ERP) workload expertise in more than one of the following: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail/Commerce and/or Finance and how these solutions help customers achieve their desired business outcomes

Proven experience in a consultative selling approach, including bringing innovative ideas to customer problems and being customer focused.

Capable strategist to influence, build and grow Microsoft’s customers, members of the Microsoft sales, services, and marketing organizations, internal and external communities, and Microsoft partners.

Strong people negotiation, organizational, presentation, deep technical product demo, writing, and verbal communication skills required. Highly skilled at communicating the differentiation of the solution to achieve business outcomes.

Strong leadership to influence key technical decision makers, influencers, industry decision makers and or boards required.

Ability to lead, inspire and mentor members of the Microsoft (or similar) sales, services, and marketing organizations and Microsoft (or similar) partners required.

Experience and passion for learning (technical and soft skills); implementing practices from others; trying, failing and learning from that; sharing practices and knowledge for others’ benefit required.

QualificationsTechnical KnowledgeMinimum 6+ years’ of applicable workload expertise with one or more of the following: technical presales, post-sales consulting or relevant company/customer IT application implementation or management

Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions

Customer facing business processes in one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail/CPG, Energy, Professional Services

Successful track record of solutioning and delivering end-to-end complex business solution presentations and demonstrations.

Successful track record of competitive displacement

Ability to harvest interesting and relevant IP from an engagement with a customer to integrate into our wider IP pool, shortening future selling cycles.

Working knowledge of Power Platform and Azure Services preferred.

Technical depth in aligned solutions to communicate field selling point-of-view to product and marketing team leaders that drive influence in product direction.

Desirable but not required – workload certifications/degrees

Capable of executing business value selling methodologies and practices such as Design Thinking, that successfully convey the value and outcomes the proposed solution will deliver.

Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills across various customer stakeholders; experienced storyteller.

Ability to be go-to technical expert for sales: explain, demo & prove the capabilities of Business Application solutions, and remove technical and competitive blockers
