Req Number 137234Job DescriptionSupervises and coordinates the staff and daily operations of front desk, private room requests, and Surgical Waiting areas. Maintains operational policies and procedures to properly guide staff. Ensures that the physical upkeep and stellar accommodations of the frontdesk areas are maintained.Job Responsibility

Promotes Hospitality department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.

Leads the activities of assigned Hospitality team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.

Ensures timely insurance verification, charge accumulation, and point-of-service patient payment functions for private room requests.

4.Ensures timely collection, processing and reports for the private room revenues.

Reviews private room reservation list; collaborates with admitting office regarding private room availability and reservations.

Responds to concerns of patients, families, physicians and staff.

Ensures integrity and accuracy of patient database information, including but not limited to, admissions, insurance and financial information.

Assists with preparation of monthly reports; assists with identifying and developing programs and/or services to generate exceptional person-centered experiences.

Builds and maintains productive inter/intra departmental and vendor work relationships to optimize operations.

Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.

Ensures front desk check in process is running smoothly.
