Description We are in search of a Supply Chain Manager to join our client's team located in Albany, Oregon. This position presents a short-term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry. The Supply Chain Manager will be instrumental in driving the supply chain operations, overseeing purchases from suppliers, and managing a team.Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supply chain to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods. Provide leadership and direction to junior team members to foster productivity and efficiency. Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for managing and streamlining supply chain processes. Manage the procurement process, including the issuance of purchase orders. Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of parts and ensure they are built to specification. Implement and manage supply chain strategies to support business growth. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to provide insights on supply chain performance. Foster a collaborative environment to encourage teamwork and collective problem-solving. Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain process.
