The SVP Technology will be an experienced technology executive responsible for driving operational excellence within the IT organization while instilling a customer centric focus in all aspects of the technology team's initiatives. This leader should be able to identify opportunities to simplify the IT architecture and systems in-use across the organization while still fulfilling the needs of the various business units.

Description
  • Drive operational excellence within the IT organization through a highly disciplined focus on process, metrics, and accountability for technology reliability
  • Serve as the operational leader responsible for the organization's network engineering, tech ops, workplace services, executive IT support, IT security, and corporate systems. This leader must ensure the delivery of critical business services and have process for detection of potential risks/outages. This includes technology infrastructure, core systems and applications supporting the business, as well as technology support services for all employees including executive leadership
  • In partnership with the compliance team, develop and maintain technology infrastructure and systems that ensure information is created, acquired or maintained and used in accordance with its intended purpose to protect from external or internal threats and to ensure the organization complies with statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security and privacy
  • Maintain security of all data and implement disaster recovery and backup procedures for all computer systems. Conduct routine tests to ensure reliability in case of a system failure or disaster

Profile
  • Prior leadership experience and vertical trajectory within the sport & entertainment space
  • Prior experience within application development, and having led other operational tech functions such as network, and core business systems
  • Proven ability to build a scalable technology organization by attracting, retaining, developing, managing and
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of technologies from infrastructure to systems development to cloud architecture and SaaS. Must be able to dive deep with the team and guide the work to ensure a proper delivery of needed outcomes
  • The successful candidate will bring strong experience and knowledge of best practice information security measures in today's markets, understand the increased pressure focused on technology and data through the current cyber security environment and analytical experience in critical infrastructure protection. He/she will demonstrate an understanding of information security from a technical perspective with evidence of having established or improved and managed the function
