A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for a Systems Architect for a 6-12 month contract.

Some onsite work is required throughout the life of the contract, and is likely to increase over time. Local candidates only

To be considered for this position, the client has advised that upon placement, consultants will be required to wear a mask under certain circumstances, show proof of full vaccination or submit on a weekly basis proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test

Requirements and skills

Experience with software and cloud engineering and architecture in building enterprise data analytics platforms
Experience in implementing solutions using Azure Data lake, Azure Databricks and PowerBI
Experience with data ingestion and data pipelines
Experience configuring and deploying Azure services
Experience with Python
Experienced in creating Analytics and reporting solutions

Desired Skills

Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Experienced in facilitating meetings and working sessions
Experience in Azure DevOps and working in an Agile methodology

Responsibilities

Candidate would be working on the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform.
Responsible for the system architecture and solution design, ensuring the platform is scalable while performant.
