Our established, beautiful children's play space and prenatal parent club in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn is looking for a skilled writer to join our team!

This is a part-time position requiring flexible availability and at least 3 shifts per week commitment. Shifts are typically 8:30am-6pm or 11am-6pm with additional shift opportunities for birthday parties and events. Candidates will not be considered for the position if they aren’t available on weekends.

WHO WE ARE

We’re a stress free, membership-based indoor playspace in Williamsburg built for babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups. Think of us as an extended living room for our littlest members of the community to learn, grow, and make friends. Outside of open play, we also host daily classes, events, and birthday parties on weekends (open to both members and the public).

Our Front Desk Managers work on site, greeting members and clients with joy, warmth, and respect daily. We care about our members, and take pride in having empathy and kindness while working hard and having fun. While the role is hospitality and copywriting focused, there are other responsibilities including light cleaning, space organization, and supply inventory management.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will start your day bright eyed and bushy tailed by arriving early or on time

You will answer all emails in a professional, friendly manner

You will ensure that the studio is tidy, well-stocked, and ready for the busy day ahead

You'll engage in frequent cleaning and make sure the space is presentable at all times

You will be the face of our business: answering phones, and greeting clients warmly

You will provide excellent support to our members (both little and grown up) and help with anything they may need on site

You will assist with birthday parties on weekends as scheduled and agreed upon

You will function as part of a wonderful team, communicating effectively, and providing valuable insight

You will participate in weekly facilities audits and supply inventory counts

You will give tours of the space to potential new members

You will participate in executing both large and small projects with our Studio Manager

You will help our marketing team acquire new play space members as needed
