Tax Compliance Accountant

Description We are seeking an Account Manager based in New York. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The primary job function is to manage accounts with a specific focus on Tax Compliance Accounting. Individuals with skills in Sales Tax, Payroll Taxes, and Corporate Income Tax are preferred. Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts Ensure all tax compliance issues are addressed promptly and accurately Handle customer inquiries and disputes related to Sales Tax, Payroll Taxes, and Corporate Income Tax Develop strategies to improve tax compliance processes Analyze account performance and make necessary adjustments to improve profitability Coordinate with other team members to ensure all customer needs are met Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry trends Build and maintain strong relationships with customers Monitor and report on account status and performance regularly Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development.Requirements Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role Knowledge of Corporate Income Tax procedures Familiarity with Payroll Taxes and compliance Understanding of Sales Tax and its implications Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
