Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interprets written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in financial industry.
  • Collaborates with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end to end technical solutions.
  • Performs complex coding to written technical specifications.
  • Tests the resulting coding components in accordance with company standards and as defined in approved testing plans.
  • Investigates, analyzes and documents reported defects – raising issues as appropriate.
  • Analyzes run time profiles to debug errors that may exist.
  • Solves complex defects that arise through own work or the work of others
  • Performs maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Qualifications
  • 7 Years Required; 9 Years Preferred
  • University (Degree), Preferred
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support existing Java applications
  • Be involved in planning and execution of system deployment
  • Help in Re-architecting and adapt existing services to use latest technologies
  • Responsibilities include Problem Resolution of Production Issues, helping with platform maintenance and involvement with monthly release
Required Skills:
  • 7 or more years of experience in a Angular Framework
  • Understanding of Agile and SAFE delivery
  • Development experience with Apache Camel, Spring Batch
  • Experience in Schema design and development with Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Developing with awareness for caching, transaction management, threading, concurrency, performance tuning, and application-level monitoring
  • Problem Solving Skills using Splunk and Dynatrace
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud implementation - AWS preferred
  • Experience with utilizing shared component libraries for UX implementation
  • Web UI development using Angular
  • Knowledge of Containers (Docker) and Kubernetes platforms (Openshift)
  • Familiarity with KAFKA integrations and Splunk tools.
  • Organizational, communication and time-management skills
  • Multithreading experience using Java and Spring executors
  • Oracle Database programming (SQL and PL/SQL) and database design fundamentals
  • Archiving products Building content-centric applications using ECM product
  • Strong analysis and design skills including requirements analysis
  • Ability to interface with business application developers, analyze project requirements, and develop an architecture for integration of content services into the solution.
