Tech Writer/BA

Tech Writer need for human subjects research to exchange information and rely on approval. 2-3 months analyst time, analyst/ technical writing with possible extension! Pay Rate- Negotiable Start date: ASAP Project role: Business Analyst/ Tech Writer First two weeks: understand the current state of how different institutions interact with each other (IRB- review board for human subjects)

• Next two weeks: understand data model and put it together, draft put together
  • Requirements gathering
  • Putting info into document
• Next additional four weeks: putting a technical spec together, what does website look like, what are the APIs that need to be designed
• Then, creating appropriate test scripts

• Data modeling small task- can have someone on their team assist with, small task

• Need to be able write specs to give to engineer

• 3 years as a BA
• 1 year in clinical research or therapy

• Understands a research project regarding human subjects- what the process like, what the approvals are like

• Built a draft of, built database
• Doesn't do published open standards, bring it around different institutions while it is still a written spec
• Basic familiarity with human resources- can in touch with human research administration subject matter experts or Paul
• Writing manual about how this allows different institution to share different documents (open API, two systems talk to each other)

• Technical writing is #1
• BA with experience open-source API documents
• Nice to have: has skill to understand business model (human subject resources administration)
