Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Agile Development Team

Location : City of New York

Hybrid Role(2 days in office) - Long Term

Job Summary:

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst role in an Agile development environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues.Experience in working with public sector clients, understanding of government procurement, and contracting processes is a plus.Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and agile methodologies.Familiarity with software development technologies such as .NET, Microsoft Tech Stack, SQL Server, SQL, Python, Portal, Web Apps, and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development team to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop user stories, use cases, and functional requirements for Agile development team.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirements, technical specifications, user guides, and test cases.Conduct stakeholder meetings and user interviews to gather business requirements and provide regular status updates to project managers and clients.Collaborate with development team to ensure accurate and complete technical specifications and provide guidance during the development process.Perform gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to optimize business processes and workflows.Identify and mitigate risks and issues during the development lifecycle.Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
