Technical Engineer, Offline Editorial

Provide daily support for artists using creative non-linear editorial software including Avid Media Composer, Avid Nexis, Adobe Premiere and associated plug-ins  Configure, move, monitor, and maintain studio equipment for daily client sessions, ensuring workstations and rooms are in an optimal running state Calibration of video reference displays and audio monitoring in conjunction with both internal and industry standards and methods Assist artists and production operators with troubleshooting software and hardware related issues Troubleshoot video, audio, and network switching and routing infrastructure within facility Troubleshoot storage infrastructure that includes Nexis, NAS, and DAS deployments Build, update and patch production workstations and servers on MacOS and Windows platformsWork together with global technology team to coordinate efficient handoffs and complete on-going departmental projects Source equipment and material from our vendors for various engineering needs Document procedures and critical information in a comprehensive manner for the benefit of technology team Other departmental duties, as required and assigned
