Technical Support Engineer

I have a full time opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer to join a growing team with one of our clients in Utica NY. This role will be onsite 5 days a week and work 9am-5pm.Salary will be $50-$60k depending on experience.This role will be providing daily IT support for end users. This includes daily onsite support, basic network troubleshooting, printer support, telephone support, wireless access points and wireless devices (i.e. warehouse scanners), and setting up/decommissioning employee accounts, workstations, and phones.

• Level 2 break/fix support for all desktops, laptops, telephones, iPhones/Android devices, RF scanners, and other onsite general technical hardware.
• Work closely with Managed Service Provider to assist with network troubleshooting, scheduling upgrades, and installations.
• Troubleshoot basic in-house network connectivity issues
• Support business software on users Laptops and Desktops.
• Must have a sense of urgency in a production environment.

• Must have previous experience in a Tech Support role (L1 or L2)
• Must work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Must have solid knowledge of Windows 10 Pro.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Understanding of antivirus monitoring and identify security risks.
• Must have strong written, documentation and verbal skills
• Well organized and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
• First-hand experience in using Active Directory
• Knowledge and understanding of networks, including wireless access points, switches, and overall network topology.
• High level of customer service and providing a positive customer experience is a must have.
• Must be versatile and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
