We Are HiringPediatric, Med Surg Unit at Lourdes, part of Ascension in Binghamton, New York is hiring a Technician, Patient Care to work part time with benefits! As our Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant, you are the “front-line!” You are the one team member who patients remember because you spend many hours of direct care with them! This position plays a key role in the care of our patients as you assist them with their daily living activities. You will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and through this collaborative patient care environment, you will have the ability to impact the care our patients receive. Your great care of our patients will lead to more positive outcomes for you and your patients. Schedules: Part time opportunities to work 48 hours biweekly and 64 hours biweekly, with benefits! 64 hours per pay period, evening shift 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

48 hours per pay period, night shift 10:30 p.m.-7:00 a.m.

What You Will DoPerform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.Aid with movement and placement of patients.

Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.

Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:High school diploma or GED preferred.
