Test Engineer

EXCITING TEST ENGINEER OPENING FOR A TOP MANUFACTURER ON LONG ISLANDJob Title: Electrical Test EngineerLocation: Long Island, New YorkResponsibilities:

Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols for electronic components and systems.

Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing on sensors, potentiometers, and other products.

Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to electrical performance, signal integrity, and functionality.

Use specialized test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.

Analyze test data, identify trends, and recommend design improvements.

Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and manufacturability.

Maintain accurate records of test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Support production and assist in resolving any production-related issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in sensor or electronics manufacturing.

Proficiency in using test equipment and software tools.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Familiarity with MIL-STD and aerospace standards is a plus.
