Position Title: Test Lead
Job Profile:The role is accountable for test management, requirements, traceability, tooling, designing, automating and executing test strategies and test plans for Products/Services.The Test Lead/Manager is directly responsible and accountable for coordinating the day to day activities of the test team for an individual testing phase, e.g. SIT, UAT, OAT, etc.; with high level of complexity and scope and delivering the test phase on time and within budget, while meeting all quality objectives. This applies to all testing activities to support the quality assurance and control of the test phase.This role will carry out some or all of the following activities:•Collaborate and coordinate with US regional and global teams to create overall US Project test strategy/test plans•Schedule SIT planning meetings and coordinate inputs to the Test Plan from the Work stream Business and Technology partners•Responsible to conduct test strategy/test plans detailed reviews/walkthroughs to secure sign-offs•Review and maintain Traceability Matrix, Test Data and Batch Calendar•Perform Testing Risk Assessment - Functional Design level for System Test•Participate in test environment planning discussions•Review SIT - System Test Scenarios•Review SIT - System Test Cases•Execution Scheduling, Tracking and Defect Management•Work with the Scrum Team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process•Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements•Inform the test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process•Responsible for E2E forecast and execution, Plan SIT shakeout, P2P and E2E SIT testing•Consolidate daily reporting and status updates to sr. management•Document Test Phase Completion Certificate and secure approvals•Compliance with all relevant controls and standards.•Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable•Champions Agile testing principles and practices in the team•Maintains focus on building quality into the developed product throughout the entire project lifecycle•Prioritizes test efforts, taking into account the operational and technical risks•Facilitate triaging of defects at appropriate frequency•Collaborates with the developers and Business Analyst to sign off user storiesQualifications:•6-10 yrs experience in test management with Financial Technology back ground•Experience in Wholesale, Payments and Global Liquidity and Cash management testing preferred•3+ yrs experience working in Agile environment•Experience with test management /automation tools - Jira, Tosca, API Testing, Agile framework•Ability to effectively use complex analytical, and problem solving techniques•Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment•Effective communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and lead onshore and offshore teamsEducation:Bachelor's / University degree.
