Trading Solutions Developer

Hybrid - New York, NY

Compensation Range : $170K-$220K base + bonus

What You'll Do:
  • Develop solutions to key business challenges developing Java applications or using the ION toolset
  • Refactor and enhance existing components and solutions
  • Manage UAT and demonstration sessions
  • Elicit key information from business, transforming these into concise IT requirements
  • Collaborate with other global IT teams
  • Assist production operations team in rollout and production support
Skills / Experience You Will Need:
  • Ieally 5+ years of Full Stack Java experience
  • Strong understanding of low-latency, multi-threaded code
  • Strong ION knowledge, to an expert level
  • Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Exposure to functional programming is also highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of bond pricing, ideally with PXE and solid understanding of Rates and Credit bonds and derivatives
  • Experience of working in agile teams
  • Detailed understanding of the nuances of trading venues such as Bloomberg, TradeWeb
  • Experience in automated testing and continuous integration
  • Experience of Python, Perl and other scripting languages and experience of Kafka
