RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Training and Development Specialist in New York City, New York (NY).
Responsibilities include: Partner with subject matter experts to provide high quality customized training solutions and course development that are strategically aligned with business objectives Training and Development Specialist will deliver quality products for 'client facing' experiences and skills with the ability to engage in conversations with key stakeholders to determine training content needs, propose training solutions, design, and deliver training Define learning strategies and design development programs that include assessments, curricula, experiential learning, and evaluative metrics Create design documents outlining course learning objectives, content, assessments, and evaluation criteria Training and Development Specialist will assist in creating and implementing education learning and development programs that support effective delivery of training programs for data and analytics Understand and develop evaluation tools that measure impact and effectiveness of learning and development programs Develop instructional content and materials utilizing various instructional design methodologies and technologies Training and Development Specialist will communicate requirements to technical personnel through the construction of basic conceptual data, process models and flowcharts, and technical specifications Interview end users, stakeholders, and project sponsors in order to assess business needs Create business, functional, and technical requirements documents based on captured data and in accordance with departmental protocol/standards Convert information gathered into details including data sources, data and user types, interface components, interface navigation needs, reporting needs, and administrative system needs Define external interfaces, constraints, quality issues, and other non-functional requirementsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience with development of training material that consists of written and e-Learning course content, presentation material, instructor guides, or learning activities focused on meeting defined learning objectives 5+ years of experience in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and eLearning authoring tools such as Camtasia Advanced proficiency in workplace learning and development principles and authoring tools with knowledge of Instructional design architecture, preferably in Camtasia Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and Project Experience in identifying and managing complex group dynamics and reacting in real time to changes in content and/or process Excellent time management skills and attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact effectively with Subject Matter Experts and third-party vendors Must be able to work independently yet be a strong team player Must be well organized, detail oriented, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience Understanding of software User Interface design, software development life cycle or Joint Application Development, and knowledge or exposure to project management methodologies Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team Extensive knowledge in the characteristics of Information technology, computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages are a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
