Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionPosition Summary:As a Shipping and Documentation Coordinator at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to manage both domestic and international shipping operations. Your role will play a key part in ensuring smooth shipping processes, including the preparation of required documents to meet customer demand and adhere to import/export regulations. This position will require effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external customers, allowing you to demonstrate your outstanding interpersonal skills, teamwork, and promptness.Responsibilities:As a Shipping and Documentation Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:

Reviewing open customer orders and creating pick worksheets as needed for shipping schedules and requested ship dates.

Generating shipping output documents to facilitate smooth shipping processes.

Requirements:To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

1 year experience in a distribution or supply chain position

High School Diploma or GED required

Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience with SAP P46 or another ERP platform is preferred.

Understanding of international INCO terms and international banking practices related to transportation.
