Schedules and coordinates couriers to pick-up and deliver specimens.

Enters names on assignment sheet for each trip.

Notifies workers of assignment.

Establishes courier availability.

Assigns replacement courier, when needed.

Maintains record of departure and return of courier for each trip including, but not limited to recording total time worked, and number of miles covered, using calculator.

Receives incoming calls, verifies patient and client information, fills-out the 'Will Call' form, receives paperwork, and prepares patient record according to department policy and procedures.

Prepares and distributes reports.

Job Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Valid Driver's License in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
