Position Description:Business analyst with process transformation support responsibilities for global Treasury initiatives. Transformation spans all facets of Treasury functions, including liquidity management and reporting, capital management, Citi Treasury Investment management (FX risks, investment securities, etc.), balance sheet costing, funds transfer pricing, global and local regulatory reporting, global and local ALCO processes, and Treasury information management at the Citi consolidated level as well as the Country Treasury level.The candidate will act as a strategic partner across Finance / Risk / Technology organizations to identify process improvements, complete business analyses and manage project deliverables.Analyze existing end-to-end processes, seeking any opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies, streamline and reengineer workflows and apply automated solutions to manual processes.
Perform risk assessments and control analysis supporting a broad range of functions in a Corporate Treasury environment
Interact with Senior Management to identify significant risks impacting business objective and the control environment
Partner with functional groups within the organization, senior management and other internal constituencies to ensure the governance structure and processes are aligned with Citi Standards
Work with global teams to define requirements and partner with other teams to implement solutions
Partner with internal and external teams to track requirements and progress against deliverables
Develop solutions that comply with Citi-standard business architecture and data management principles and standards
Present findings/analysis and make recommendations to senior management
Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients and colleagues
Build and maintain excellent relationships with regulators
Scope projects and create workable project plans.
Meet commitments and balance competing priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred; finance or business analysis major or significant course work helpful.
Experience in Financial Services or Consulting required;
Excellent data extraction and analytics skills required;
Knowledge of the Treasury function and in depth knowledge of balance sheet concepts, liquidity reporting and metrics and funds transfer pricing concepts is strongly preferred;
Strong process analysis, mapping and analysis skills with the ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations;
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including ability to present to senior management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to independently manage work across initiatives
