Our client, An international professional services network, is seeking aUS-CTS-DRS-Banking Operations Staff

Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

A particular offering within Equity Derivatives business is Note Issuance, the Notes issued consist of a Funding element which references USD Libor. The Note packages have multiple elements which must be transitioned and rebooked in tandem with the Funding leg, this is a complex and timely requirement. Whilst bulk tooling is being developed to assist the Middle Office in this operation, there remains an operational burden upon the teams to perform these rebookings. Resource would assist team with rebooking's

General Skills:

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, be detail oriented, and has a proven track record of writing requirements, process flows and procedures and working through to their implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with colleagues of varying degrees of knowledge and with different skills sets.
  • Strong internal stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work with senior level stakeholders across different disciplines (Trading Desk Heads, Business Management, Risk, Product Control, Compliance, etc.).
  • 'Self-starter' able to take the initiative, with the ability to work with autonomously, facilitating meetings/workshops/working groups without prompting.
  • A banking background with 10+ years of business experience. Strong Technical skills (data analysis, modelling, testing etc.)
  • Prior exposure to large change projects e.g. FTRB, Volcker ideal
  • Prior exposure / experience of working in Trade Support / Middle Office / Operations
  • The ability to offer business and/or technical solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field Experience in banking operations
  • Technologically adept
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments
  • Ability to work independently
