job detailsjob summary:This role is fully remote anywhere in USWe are seeking a UX Web Designer who is passionate about creating user-centered web experiences. In this role, you will take ownership of design direction and collaborate closely with our web team to develop impactful solutions grounded in research and data. You'll have the opportunity to experiment, iterate, and push the boundaries of modern web design practices, while leveraging data to drive engagement and conversions.Key Responsibilities:

Own and consult on design direction using research-driven insights

Identify and prioritize opportunities for high-impact design improvements through data analysis

Select and the right mix of research, design, and visualization methods to eliminate obstacles and enhance user engagement

Create innovative and strategic designs for web content and functions

Support web producers with layout optimization and design consistency

Build Figma mockups for new web pages and collaborate with the design team on layouts

Utilize user engagement data to guide design decisions for new pages

Contribute to web optimization and migration projects as needed

Who You'll Work With:You will be part of a dynamic web team, collaborating with senior web producers on layout design and working closely with developers who will bring your designs to life.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

At least 5 years of experience in UX or UI design, with a focus on web UX

A portfolio showcasing past UX work, including deliverables and innovative design solutions

Demonstrate skill and creativity in selecting the right mix of research, design, and visualization methods to remove obstacles or create alignment and drive engagement and conversions.

Adapt state-of-the-art web design practices and frameworks in the industry and develop our own cutting-edge approaches through experimentation and iteration

Find new and better designs to communicate strategic web content and function

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support web producers on layout

Create Figma mockups for all new pages

Work if needed with design team to create new layouts

Leverage engagement data for new pages

Consult on design direction based upon research driven insights

Leverage data to identify and prioritize problems, friction and opportunities for maximum design impact

Work on web optimization and migration projects as needed.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:A senior web team of producers who will partner with you on layout and developers who will implement what you designMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS)A degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, a related field, or equivalent industry experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX or UI designer, preferably in web UX specifically.A portfolio of past UX work experience, deliverables, and innovationDESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/SYSTEM EXPERIENCE (NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS)A fast worker; somebody who gets to consensus on design within deadlinesThe ability to clearly articulate the need for design and design decisions to diversequalifications:
