Title: Vice President / Senior Technology Manager Responsibilities- Provide technology solutions for Fixed income, Currency, and Emerging Markets businesses.
- Run multiple stability forums to bring together business, development and QA teams on improving the resiliency of the platforms supported.
- Assess the operation of a follow-the-sun support model with 8 regional business centers and 24/6 platform uptime.
- Assess all changes to the production systems and infrastructure in Change Advisory Boards (CABs).
- Drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways to better serve an evolving client base.
- Utilize Unix/Linix, Database (Sybase/SQL/Oracle), Perl, Shell scripting, Infrastructure, and ITIL process to troubleshoot and fix production issues.
- Set up monitoring and alerts in ITRS, Splunk or other equivalent Event Management systems to proactively detect potential issues that might disrupt the operations of the lines of business supported.
- Use FIX API configuration and database queries / FIX log analysis to investigate issues reported by external clients accessing electronic trading platforms.
- Design and develop automation tools/scripts for Swaps, Spot, Forward and NDFs products to provide reports/data for internal and external clients supported.
- Assess Multi-bank FX vendor platforms to analyze market volatility during market events calls held with business and technology stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
- Must include 7 years of experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Unix/Linix, Database (Sybase/SQL/Oracle), Perl, Shell scripting, Infrastructure, and ITIL process to troubleshoot and fix production issues;
