This is a pure contract role that requires to be 100% onsite in Brooklyn, NY. Pay Range for this position is 60.00 to 80.00 per hour depending on experience and certifications.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform or methodology. Min 4 years' experience VIOP/Standard PBX Voice (ex. Nortel, Avaya)/SIP with related certifications. Experience in methods and best practices in detailed engineering of voice/IP-PBX/VOIP systems Experience and familiarity with service provider voice and data transport system and technologies. (Fujitsu, Cisco, Tellabs, Ciena) Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electronics, related field, or 10 years' experience in this role Strong skills set to lead technical calls with vendors and internal groups. Deep knowledge and experience with SIP. Technical writing and documentation skills. Excellent communication and clear business writing skills as well as interpersonal skills. Knowledge of public safety environments and/or experience working with government is a plus. Minimum 10 years' experience in legacy voice PBX engineering and integration skills. Minimum 6 years' experience in voice PBX large project transition and management skills. Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of legacy PBX trunk and line methodology. Minimum 5 years' experience in transition to Cisco Call Manager telephony. Minimum 5 years' experience in multi-site, data center to data center Cisco Call Manager design and integration methodology and skills. Design skills in IP voice management, auditing, and monitoring. Knowledge of Logging and Recording technologies and techniques for legacy and IP PBX's. Minimum 8 years of LAN and WAN network design skills. Industry experience to interact fluently w/ both internal and external partner organizations across variety of services and troubleshooting sessions. Ability to digest signification amounts of technical volume and filter out key components in a dynamic environment. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Manage and oversee the execution and delivery of all aspects of the telephony components of the NG911 system to replace the current E911 system. Incorporate applicable federal, state, and professional organizations' standards, guidelines, and best practice for a NG911 system. Identify potential impacts to the current E911/PSAC operations, and any associated Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Provide support for telephony designs and configurations between the NG911 system and all external telephony components and systems. Review and assess Call Handling telephony requirements and proposed integrations. Vendor and service provider engagement and review of product and services.
