Warehouse & Material Specialist

Title: Warehouse and Material SpecialistLocation: Orangeburg, NY areaDuration: 6+ Month Contract Hours: Mon-Fri; 8:00am to 4:30pmStart Date: ASAP!Responsibilities:

Receive & transacts raw & intermediate materials into inventory

Physically issue & transact raw material & intermediates into work orders

Demonstrate GMP in all paperwork

Print & issue labels required by Finishing Dept.

Reconcile returned label quantities

Review line clearance forms for compliance to GMP

Prepare outbound shipments & bills of lading

Supports incoming inspections as needed

Monitors temperature sensitive materials & ensures they are properly stored.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year experience in a computerized warehouse environment

Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment

PC Skills (MS Excel, Inventory Systems, MRP Systems)

Some SAP experience required

Ability to lift up to 40lbs

Forklift certification or any other type of certification is not required for this position, it would be a huge PLUS

Experience with wireless scanning and other handheld devices is a PLUS
