Water/Wastewater EngineerJob Description:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Clifton Park, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create detailed designs for water and wastewater treatment systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
Project Management: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of water and wastewater projects.
Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analyses and feasibility studies to support project planning and design.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, plans, and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
Certifications: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and GIS.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
