The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP solutions that are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with the specific needs of public sector management. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming, SRM module customization, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance with government regulations.Key Responsibilities
SAP ABAP Development:
Design, build, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP applications.
Develop and modify SAP modules in SRM as well as connected modules and systems.
Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules.
SRM Customization and Support:
Customize the SAP SRM solution to meet the needs of the public sector environment.
Ensure seamless integration of SRM with other SAP modules like MM (Material Management) and FI (Financial Accounting).
Provide ongoing support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms within SAP SRM.
Compliance and Best Practices:
Ensure all SAP solutions comply with governmental regulations and standards.
Stay updated with the latest public sector trends and technologies to provide strategic advice on SAP solutions.
Document and maintain all code changes and customizations in accordance with standard compliance procedures.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 2+ year of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong understanding of SAP modules, especially SRM, MM, and FI.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to acquire/maintain required level of Security clearance.
Experience in public sector projects is a plus but not mandatory.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a high degree of attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in ABAP Development.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Knowledge of integration points between SAP SRM and other SAP Business Suite applications.
Familiarity with public sector procurement and contracting regulations.
