Accountant - Entry Level

The Accountant's duties will include data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation, and the position will report to the Accounting Manager. Aiding in audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

Ensuring that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

Make monthly journal entries

Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

Executing alternate duties and partaking in special projects as assigned

Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies

Perform data entry Requirements - QuickBooks experience preferred

Proficiency in Post Payments

Quickbooks Online experience

Communication experience

Command of cash applications

Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

1 year of relevant accounting experience necessary

Excellent attention to detail

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Accurate, swift, data entry abilities

Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
